Opening day at the Denver County Fair was an event filled event beginning with the arrival of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
Hot Dog Eating Content Day 1
At 3 pm, the first of day of the hot dog eating contests commenced, which drew a large crowd on a very hot summer day.
Ruben Jurado too top honor in the adult division and Brooklyn Brock won it in the kids division.
Wiener Dog Race
Steve’s Snappin’ Dog’s owner, Steve Ballas, was the emcee at the Wiener Dog Fashion Show and Wiener Dog Race.
Whiskey, Wine and Wieners
Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs menu items were sampled at the Whiskey, Wine & Wieners event later Friday evening.
Saturday, July 20th
The second hot dog eating contest took place at 2 pm. Zander Klaus won the kids division and Matt Aufbemberge won it for the adults.
Following the hot dog eating contest, Steve’s Snappin’ Ale was served up at the Denver County Beer Fest and won rave reviews on the refreshing taste.
Sunday, July 21, 2019
Sunday concluded with a hot dog eating contest taking place at 11am. Kyle won the adult division and Zachary took honors for the kids division.
In all, the Denver County Fair was a huge success for Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs. A special thanks goes out to Morgan Unks for her assistance in helping to coordinate a first-class event. Come next year and see what all the excitement is about.
